At the Temple meeting I spoke of the purpose of our Father to save his children, his end in view. Ours should be the same to save ourselves and assist in saving others the living and the dead. Explained how it is that there are so many religious organizations, due to the lack of knowledge as to what Salvation is and how it is attainable. Explained how it is that they can not understand the Scriptures [page break] the word of God on those points. it they have not the Spirit by which these things were given and will not take the course presented to obtain that spirit. Explained the first principles as a birth, Jesus to Nicodemus. Commented The screen of life shows the thoughts, words and actions by which we will be judged. By Repentance & obedience the screen of life may be cleansed of all obscene or objectionable features. If we continue in sin our sins will thus be published upon the housetops. &c. Samething on marriage. [illegible] the dead will be associated and will find their affinity and make known their desires to us & we will seal them.
