This painting is called sizing for the artistic painting which is to follow. I sent for the artist J. Leo Fairbanks and he decided the color required which was lighter than that used on the 2nd coat on two of the walls which were second coated. This has been one of the best years of my life. On March 10th I was appointed to preside over the Salt Lake Temple and the temple work and workers, one of the most desirable works in which it would be possible to receive. I have been blessed exceedingly in my labors.

The company is incorporated as the Taylor-Richards Motor Co. $50,000.00 Capital. We think we have a good thing there. My son George manages the Company. I have notice from the Portland Oregon Cement Co in which I own 23 2/3 shares preferred stock $100.00 each and some common stock that they have now paid off all their debts. That means that they will now begin to accumulate for dividends.
