He represented the belief of the Catholic Church in a God who created man; a God having a mind; who gave the laws or mans guidance; a spiritual God. If he had a body of flesh and bones as some believe he would not be infinite but would be an object to be acted upon. We understand that God is a Trinity because God has told us &c.
He is a Spiritual God. Thus sayeth He.
