Sunday Oct 2, 1904 From memory I write a few things not having written in my journal since Sept 18. Sept 25th [p. 166] I attended a Convention of Y.M.M.I.A. in forenoon and by appointment discussed the question Class Leader A How to Select him B His duties In afternoon I attended YLM Convention In the evening attended Conjoint meeting. Bro. Willard Done & Sister Sarah Kiddington were Salt Lake Visitors.

Sat. Oct. 1st Attended High Council Meeting and Stake Priesthood Meeting and was mouth in Setting apart Bro Robt Wills 2nd assistant to J. A. Lundberg in MI[A] work.

Last week Loaded a car of hay for R.N. Bush and unloaded two cars of lumber besides regular business which included several loads of lumber taken to Stockton.

Sund. 2nd Attended School, & bore testimony, Attended meeting & assisted in blessing the babies 3 I blessed and named Rozella McBride Kirk. Administered to Phares Murray Haynes in Meeting for his restoration from rheumatism &c.
