Watering corn all day.

2 July 1883 • Monday

Took the rake down to the lower meadow, watered the lot and replanted sweet corn at B F K’s.

3 July 1883 • Tuesday

Planted beans 1/2 day and hauled a load of hay from the lower meadow

4 July 1883 • Wednesday

Went to the grove at in Thos. Smith’s pasture in fornoon. [p. 34] and from there to J. D. Woods and helped put out the fire his house being on fire. Went down to the lower meadow and raked some hay, took Alice & baby with me and then went for a ride.

5 July 1883 • Thursday

Hauled 3 loads hay from Frank’s old field, two to Frank & one for me.

6 July 1883 • Friday

Hauled 3 loads of hay to Franks One from the old meadow and two from the lower meadow.

7 July 1883 • Saturday

Hauled two loads of hay from the lower meadow, with Madam & Lady, one load to B. F. K. and one to me. Borrowed of B. F. K. $10.00

8 July 1883 • Sunday

Remained at home in evening fornoon, went to meeting & riding in afternoon and wrote steve in evening

9 July 1883 • Monday

Hauled 3 loads of hay from the lower meadow, two for Frank and one for me and repaired hayrack.

Went up to Aunt Alice’s in a buggy, and called at lot on bench.

Hauled one load of hay from the lower meadow and waited on Nerva <in> the afternoon and evening. Baby born at 9.50 O’clock.

Hauled 3 loa’ds of hay from the lower meadow. Went over to Nerva’s in the morning.

Hauled 3 loads of hay from the lower meadow and roped the north stack

21 July 1883 • Saturday

raked off the two stacks and topped one out and roped it and hauled too loads of hay from the Lower meadow

Visited with Nerva in fornoon, went to meeting in afternoon & up to the lot on bench.
