Bought of William Stokes one yearling mare colt, from Hudson’s Norman horse of Kaysville; for $75 00/100 Paid in Gold coin.

Built a stable with shed roof 22 x 23 Ft. on East of the old Stable.

17 December 1882 • Sunday

I was appointed assistant clerk in the 3d Quorum of Elders in the Davis Stake of Zion in a meeting held in the vestry. Immedately after, I wrote 17 letters to delinquent members of the Quorum. [p. 4]
