[. . .] Minutes of last meeting were read by request of Sister Snow.

Sister E. R. S. Smith said she had been working for the children: she had been making up books [p. 7] for us to sing out of. She asked us a few questions concearning our church. and told us stories about our people. said that the “mormon boys and girls” were the smartest children in the world. The way to keep all evil from world hearts of the children is to keep their harts pure. [. . .] [p. 8]
