[. . .] Sister Eliza R Snow then called upon Sister Horn [Mary Isabella Horne] of Salt Lake City to speak to the sisters. [. . .] Sister Eliza R Snow then addressed the Sisters, said it gave her pleasure to see the sisters interested in the things of the kingdom said we must bear in mind that we were sisters to Jesus Christ and joint heirs to the blessings and inheritances of the kingdom, with our elder brother, if we were always found faithful. said we must be determined in every thing we undertook to do, and in this way we should overcome every obstacle that presented itself. Said we should live our religion evry day so that we could go forward step by step [p. 24] and when principles were advanced for our benefit we should be ready to recieve them. whether it was the order of Enoch or some other principle Said that some were afraid if they went into the order of enoch they would not have as much as some one else. but says she do we all have one as much as another now. No we do not. Said it had always been her lot to have less than others, but it mattered not to her, so she was found in the line of her duty day by day Prayed that the lord would bless us and help us to keep his commandments. &c. [. . .] [p. 25]
