Remarks by Coun Miss E. R Snow

Sister Blythe [Margaret M. Blyth] has presented to the meeting an article which I will read after she read the article she said. If I understand this movement correctly, if there are any sisters without homes and can work at any useful trade they can find homes there. It is a large building and can accomode [accommodate] quite a number I think that this movement by the 13th Ward Sisters is laudable and ought to be encouraged. There are <some> sisters who have volunteered their services for three months. It will doubtless become a home for many of industrious sisters. The subject is open for discussion If there are questions <to be> asked we are ready to answer.

Mrs Blythe said there are sixteen in number that live as one family. We have one shoemaker one weaver and a dressmaker and we hope that we will have the patronage of the saints.

Pres M. I. [Mary Isabella Hales] Horne said [. . .] [n.p.]

[. . .] I am glad that these different branches of business are being started in the 13th Ward; it is a very laudable undertaking and there is a general invitation to all the sisters to join with them in their different branches. [. . .]

Coun Miss. E. R. Snow

I noticed by the Minutes of the Young Ladies that two of the sisters were sick and I would advise my young sisters whenever that when any of their number is sick to go and administer to them and if they are not healed to fast and pray and God will pour out his healing power upon them
