Sister E. R. Snow then said few words said she was delighted to see them improve and increase in number she wished them to grow up strong and might not such as Napolian Bonepart [Napoleon Bonaparte] or General [George] Washington & other great men [p. 60] but those who would be prayerfull she told the girls that was not their fine dresses that made them good Wished to have all of them well behaved said we were related & we should be kind to those who were their Brothers & Sisters wanted them all to help their mother & be punctual. & If they saw an old lady or Gentleman with a heavy bundle to be sure and see if they could not assist them Wished them always to be doing good said they were always learning something by attending the primary. You can always learn to be polite and you should always be polite at home as well as abroad. God can see us all the time but why is it that we can not see him Is’nt it because we are not good enough. Jesus is coming soon to reign on this world and if we all are faithful we will see him face to face. Told the children a little story A man had the bone of his arm smashed there was no doctor to be found & just one elder and came and administered to him. when he had finished asked him if he had felt anything he said yes he did and raized the are [arm] up which was healed very quickly said it pleased the Lord to see little girls & boys rise up in their meeting and speak of the goodness of God Prayer God to bless all of the children.
