Sister Eliza R Snow spent a short time with us in company with Sister [Susan M.] Schettler. Sister Snow expressed her pleasure in meeting with us, was glad to see us engaged in preparing straw for braiding, felt to encourage us to make a start in the silk culture, and hoped ere long [p. 17] to see us with a piece of land set out with mulberry trees.
