Sister Eliza R Snow then arose and stated the object of the meeting also asked a number of questions most of which were answered promptly by the children. [. . .]

Sister Snow asked some more questions which were again answered and made some remarks upon good manners and upon organizeing and said you should have a Quarterly conference in three months. and another in six months.

She asked the children who they wanted for a Presnt [President] and said we won[’]t put in any one that you dont want it was proposed that Miss Serena E Halliaday [Halliday] should be the Presnt sister Snow asked the children if they loved sister Serena and if they thought she loved them. Their answers were in the affirmative it was then motioned Seconded and carried by the children that Sister Serena E Halliday be the Presnts [Presidentess] of the P. A. [Primary Association] of Santaquin [. . .]

Sister Snow taught the children how to vote in their own officers

The names of all those who had previously been members were read over by Pres Halliday then they were all voted in as members under the new organizetion.

Sister Snow asked some more questions and told a story about two little boys, and another about the Prophet Joseph [Smith].

[. . .] [p. 58] [. . .] Sister Snow made a few very encourgeing [encouraging] remarks upon punctuality and showed to the children the Watch that used to belong to the Prophet Joseph Smith.

The Bishop [George Halliday] now step[p]ed forward, and said if it would not be out of place, he would like to say <to> the chidren, that now they had seen Josephs watch that it was Josephs wife that had showed to them.

Sister Snow made a few very encourageing remarks expressing her pleasure in meeting with the children and Blest them in the name of the Lord.
