Miss E. R. Snow said “I hope the Sisters realize the importance of this organization. The duties devolving upon the Sisters as helps to the Priesthood are just beginning to be felt. We are learning that we are not to be so contractive in our habits, & not devote ourselves entirely to the kitchen. I find that those who do the best at home are the ones who do the most good in the organizations.

By meeting together, our hearts are made happy & our burdens light.” She then advised mothers to teacher their daughters to become good housekeepers. Asked God to bless those who are taking an interest in the silk Culture.

President Mary Ann Hyde thought we were blest in having such organizations, was pleased with the Officers. [p. 1]
