[. . .] Sister Jensen felt great joy in being here. She encouraged the sisters to stand and express their feelings.

Sister Windberg [Andrine W. Winberg] desired the same, that the sisters would be bold, it would be a great blessing to them. [. . .] [p. 17]

[. . .] Sister Elisa Snow said that our hearts had been warmed in our hearts, that we had felt the spirit of our gathering together. We should hold our hands in unity and support each other. Our sisters can accomplish a great deal. She wanted us to wear homemade clothing, we should not remain slaves of the world. Josef [Joseph] Smith said that the most beautiful things should come from Zion.

President [Brigham] Young has great confidence in the sisters. [. . .] [p. 18]
