Prayer by Sister E. R. Snow

[. . .] [p. 40] [. . .]

Prest E. R. Snow then said: I want to do better this year than I have ever done before. It seems that the destroyer has put forth his hand to hinder me from doing what I wanted to do, for this is the first time that I have been able to be out, but through faith, I trust that I shall be able to overcome. The mothers some of them, feel afraid, to let their children go to the primary meeting, because of the cold. I dont feel that way, I know if they go to meeting, they shall be blest. [p. 41] I am glad to see so many of my sisters present, I did not expect but a few. With regard to the decision of the Supreme Court. It is proof to me that the work is rolling on. The Lord could not be justified in coming out of his hiding place, as long as there is one who is just among the judges of the Supreme Court. The hippocrite must tremble in Zion, but those who live their religion the Lord will preserve them.
