sister E R Snow said she was thankfull to see so many of the brethern in Meeting she was glad to see the brethern looking after there own interests for it was as much for there interests as ours

said she wanted to talk especialy to <the> young sisters she asked the young sisters if they was trying to accomplish some good every day of there lives.

said we had Missions given to us before we came hear but we had forgot said that we had consented to forget said she wanted the girls to read the revelation on celestial marriage and be sure to read it [p. 138]

she said the last stake of zion was organised the last sunday before president youngs [Brigham Young’s] death said we was now organised in a stake capacity and we are now organising a stake association said we might pray till doomsday if we dont put some works with it

we can have no silk unless we set out mulbery trees said it was not to late to plant some yet S-aid [Said] it was the s-ame with storeing grain the lord will help us to store it but he wont to save it after it is stored

said they had found it necasseary to sprinkle slaked lime over it to save it.

said that the laterday [Latter-day] saints had no hospital and the gentiles had come in amongest us and we was paying our means to them said they wanted every stake to put in shares and the young ladys and the brethern to said she would rather have a little with the blessings of god upon it than a great deal without

said the sisters that stayed at home and do not come to meeting nor associate with these sisters they do not have the light and spiret of the gosple. we are now organising the children into a primary association said it was a good thing to teach the children but we cannot do much with out the help of the mothers she asked the lord to bless us all with that <his> spiret that we Might be able to see these things.
