Sister Eliza R Snow then arose to speak a few words of counsel and advice to the sisters

spoke on a great many subjects pertaining to the gospel said that when we went into the waters of baptism we made a covenant with god to do his will and keep his commandments and that we should be very careful not to break the covenants we have made said that we should not lay our religion by for one day but strive to do right every day of our lives told us to be volient [valiant] in all things pertaining to truth and righteousness spoke of a meeting the sisters had held in Kirtland wherein they had had the gift of tongues and prophecy <prophecies> and enjoyed the spirit of god Prayed god to bless the sisters in this stake of zion
