[. . .] Sister Eliza <R> snow Smith my dear young Brothers and sisters your presedent has Called upon me to Speak to you I want you all to look me rite in the face said the prophet Joseph [Smith] sayed [said] the saints could learn Manners at the indians Related how attentive the laanites [Lamanites] were when in publick worship said i am very much pleased with you my dear Children said our little ones have very bright minds exorted the little to speak in meetings and write essays taught the children punchiality [punctuality] asked them who was the doctor of the saints the Children answred god asked what diseases god could cure the children answred all kinds the speaker then related an incident of a man having a broking arm healed by the faith of god she taught the Children that the children relationship we susta[i]ned to god and to one another thaught [taught] them to adminster to one another taught the Children1 to be very manerly and polite said she was very buch [much] pleased with exersizes of the meeting deseired [desired] the Children to learn to sing said god knew evry thing we did reladed a sketch of history of a theaft [theft] said she was found [fond] of the association said she would think of the children when she got home asked god to bless us all [. . .] [p. 32] [. . .] Repeated the lords prayer with sister Eliza R snow smith
