Sister Snow then said: She was pleas[e]d to see so many of the Sisters present it is aproof to me that your interest is increasing. I realize more [p. 13] now the necesity of associating often one with another so as to keep our thoughts feelings and affections in the right directions, we have been called out of the world to work for the Kingdom of God, while we are helping the poor, we are building up the Kingdom, what would Zion be without good mothers to rear up the children, I have heard some mothers say: I have to[o] many children, I cannot really go to meeting, mothers who want to bring up there [their] children in the right way, should possess the spirit of God, and in order to retain that spirit, they should themselves attend their meetings, we should gather together often so that we may build each other up, we have everything to encourage us that mothers need have, but we have to contend in the the spirit of the world, so we must watch as well as pray.—
