Sr E. R. Snow spoke of the importance of being united, that from the name of the society a great many had the impression that we should do nothing fur[t]her than relieve the poor, but that it comprised everything that could be done to help redeem Zion; that it was time for us to awaken from our lethergy and indiffrence. Said that the Sisters could do a great deal in helping bear off the Kingdom if they would be united, gave many good instructions.

Bishop [William B.] Preston said that he could truly bear testimony that the <sisters> had the spirit of their mission, was pleased that they had come to visit us, prayed that the blessings of God might rest upon the Sisters that had come to see us, and upon all the Relief Societies everywhere.
