A very pleasant party was given in the Lion House parlor on Thursday evening, January 25th, in honor of Sisters Eliza R. S. Smith and Zina D. H. Young. Sister Eliza, as she is affectionately entitled, was seventy-nine on Sunday, January 21 [. . .]

Mrs. Zina Y. Williams, in a most graceful manner, in behalf of the ladies, presented Sister Eliza with a handsome silk cloak [. . .] [p. 133] [. . .] Zina said, “the poor we have always, but Sister Eliza we may not have always.” The other speakers were [. . .] Sisters Eliza R. and Zina D. [. . .] Long may these mothers in Israel live to do good and minister to the daughters of Zion.
