Batesville Relief Society; Tooele, Utah Territory

[. . .] In presance [. . .] Mrs. E. R. Snow Smith. Mrs. E. [Emmeline] B. Wells. of Salt Lake City. [. . .] Sister E. R. Snow Smith then arose and gave some verry Good instructions to the Sisters. Then the folling [following] Sisters Was Nominated. Sister E. R. Snow Smith mooved that Bro. Howels [James P. Howell] Pup [Put] the motion before the meeting, and It was unanimouslly Carried that, Sister Charlotta [Charlotte G.] Hillstead be President of the Relief Society of Batesville. [. . .] [p. 1] [. . .] Sister E. R. Snow Smith said It was time to bring the Meeting to a cloas [close] and blessed all.
