Peterson Relief Society; Peterson, Utah Territory

Pres. Sister [Martha B.] Anderson said, as we have Sisters’—E. R. Snow. M. I. [Mary Isabella] Horne, &. E. [Elizabeth A.] Davis from S. L. City with us she would give the meeting in-to their hands [. . .]

Sister Snow said she was pleased to meet with the Sisters at Peterson. She always felt proud of her sisters, especialy those [p. 10] who were trying to live for Zion, & for God. Gave the Sisters some excellent instructions pertaining to their duties. Called up-on mothers to take care of their children, &. teach them faith in God & the principals of the Everlasting Gospel. Showed the necessity of becoming a selfsustaining people. Urged the sisters to manufacture their own hats & bonnets with all else they could possibly make.

She felt like blessing her sisters & prayed God the Eternal father to help them that they may always be faithful.
