Salt Lake City Eleventh Ward Relief Society; Salt Lake City, Utah Territory

[. . .] Sister Eliza Snow said this is the work of God if we are saints, be saint inde[e]d and not half Hearted one hand on the Earth and the other on Heaven, and if we profess to be saints do we keep this point continuly [continually] do we forget that we have put on Christ and work for the Kingdom; those who have put on Christ at the [n.p.] waters of Baptism, to become joint heirs with Jesus Christ I have promised <prayed> to God that I may do better, I do strive to live the life of a Saint, it requires every moment of time, it is not our own time, we want constant repenting, I wonder if rather be punctial in attending our meetings the Profit Joseph [Smith] said when the Church is fully organisted [organized] the Fruits and Designs of the Relief Society will be Most Glorious, it does not depend on the Prest. & Couns. But the members, alive Members and ready to do their duty and when come to meeti[n]g desire to be prayerful and feel that Angels are with you She spoke of home industry and for the Sisters to patronize the commision Store and the great good it was doing also the Prise of the Cloth been lowered; also that Prest. [Brigham] Young wished the Commission Store to superseed the Coop store, also spoke of storing the Wheat &c. she exort the sisters to constant Prayer [. . .] [n.p.]
