After a few remarks by Miss E. R. Snow stating the object of the meeting &c.

Miss Mary Davis motioned and Miss Lizzie Jaques [Jacques] seconded the motion that Miss Emerett [Emerette] Brown be appointed President over the Society carried by unanimous vote. Miss E. R. Snow moved that Miss Brown choose her councellors when she made choice of Miss Lizzie Jaques for her first councellor, and Miss Mary Davis for her second councellor
