Thirteenth Meeting of the

Society.

Grove July 7^th

Meeting opened by singing “When I survey the wondrous cross” &c.¹

Pray’r by sister [Sophia] Packard.

Mrs. President not present,² the busines of the Society was defer’d, and the time spent in exhortation and speaking, singing and prayer, much to the comfort and edification of those present.

The following Donations were made to wit.

to Mrs. Birch

Prayer for the children earnestly recommended by Councillors [Sarah] Cleveland, [Elizabeth Ann] Whitney and others.
