James Wrathall

8 November 1828 — 13 December 1896

James Wrathall was born on 8 November 1828 to John Wrathall and Elizabeth Atkinson in Buckden, Yorkshire, England. He migrated from England to the United States in 1850 and came to Grantsville, Utah Territory, in 1851. He married Mary Leishman in 1857. After her death in 1871, he married Flora Ann Sabin and then Frances Port Cask as a plural wife. Both women had died by 1892, when he married Caroline Bengston. He was a farmer and rancher in Grantsville and also invested in several businesses in Tooele County. Wrathall died on 13 December 1896 in Grantsville.[1]
