Alexander Herron

5 April 1832–23 December 1890

Alexander Herron was born on 5 April 1832 in Lanarkshire, Scotland, to Daniel Herron and Mary Anderson. He came to the United States with two of his brothers and arrived in Utah Territory in 1851. On 8 December 1856, he married Mary White; they had twelve children. Herron was a tailor and moved with his family to Tooele, Utah Territory, in 1863. He died on 23 December 1890 in Salt Lake City.[1]
