1 Born at Ignaberga, Kristianstad, Sweden; son of Bingta Larsson and Nils Tykesson. 2 Married Anna Christine Jacobsen, 1848; participated in plural marriage. 3 Baptized in Denmark, 1852. 4 Immigrated to the United States aboard the Westmoreland and migrated to the Salt Lake Valley, 1857. 5 Served two missions to Scandinavia, 1859–1862, 1876–1877. 6 Settled at Hyrum, Cache County, Utah Territory, 1862. 7 Served as bishop of the Hyrum Ward, July 1863–1882. 8 Died at Hyrum. 9 (See Document 4.17)
