Native Saints: The Washakie Ward is a digital history resource that tells the story of the Washakie Ward, a Northwestern Shoshone congregation of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints that operated between 1880 and 1966. It features historical essays, biographies, photographs, and maps, as well as a database of community members mentioned in missionary and congregational records through 1940. The project is a collaboration between the Church History Department and The Northwestern Band of the Shoshone Nation.
