Lorenzo Snow

1 Born at Mantua, Portage County, Ohio; son of Rosetta Leonora Pettibone and Oliver Snow. 2 Baptized at Kirtland, Geauga County, Ohio, 1836. 3 Married Charlotte Merrill Squires, 1846; participated in plural marriage. 4 Migrated to the Salt Lake Valley, 1848. 5 Ordained a member of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles, 1849. 6 Appointed to colonize Brigham City, Box Elder County, Utah Territory, 1853. 7 Appointed president of the Quorum of the Twelve, 1889. 8 Served as president of the Salt Lake temple. 9 Served as fifth president of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1898–1901. 10 Died at Salt Lake City; buried at Brigham City. 11 (See Document 4.28)
