Thomas M. Dill

8 June 1838—26 March 1915

Born 8 June 1838 at Carthage, Hamilton Co., Ohio.1 Son of James Dill and Mary McCameron.2 Taught school, by 1863.3 Married Emily (Emma) Scott Sheehan, ca. 1865.4 Responded to articles written by Eliza R. Snow and John Taylor in an article published in the Salt Lake Weekly Tribune, 13 Nov. 1875.5 Corresponded with EBW, Oct.–Dec. 1875.6 Principal of Findlay-Street School, by 1877, in Cincinnati.7 Notary public, by 1880, in Mill Creek Township, Hamilton Co.8 Served as mayor of Lockland, Hamilton Co., 1884–1886.9 Spent time in the Cincinnati workhouse for spousal abuse; divorced ca. 1889.10 Died 26 Mar. 1915 in Cincinnati; buried at Reading, Hamilton Co.11
