Pearl Fernstrom

19 February 1875—28 November 1953

Born 19 Feb. 1875 in Salt Lake City.1 Daughter of Robert Nephi Russell and Almira Myra Young.2 Baptized as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 5 June 1883.3 Worked for the Woman’s Exponent, 1894–1898.4 Often referred to by EBW in her journals, 1891–1898.5 Entertained at meetings of the Utah Woman’s Press Club with her lovely singing voice.6 Participated in the Territory Woman’s Suffrage Association.7 Provided entertainment for the Politic Club.8 Married Henry Frans Fernstrom, 6 Jan. 1898, in Salt Lake City; five children.9 Died 28 Nov. 1953 in Salt Lake City.10
