1 Born at Holliston, Middlesex County, Massachusetts; daughter of Judith Temple and John Haven. 2 Joined the Female Relief Society of Nauvoo, Hancock County, Illinois, May 12, 1842. 3 Married Robert Taylor Burton, 1845; ten children. 4 Migrated to the Salt Lake Valley with the Brigham Young pioneer company, 1848; settled in the Salt Lake City Fifteenth Ward. 5 Served as treasurer in the Fifteenth Ward Relief Society, 1868–1869. 6 Elected to the committee to frame resolutions protesting antipolygamy legislation; presented resolutions to the audience during the January 1870 mass meeting. 7 Kept an extensive diary, 1875–1919. 8 Died at Salt Lake City. 9 (See Document 1.2, 3.12, first mentioned here)
