Huldah Meriah Clark Ballantyne

The First Fifty Years of Relief Society

Born at Genesco, Livingston C., New York; daughter of Delecta Farr and Gardner Clark.1 Baptized by Orson Hyde in Geneva, Kane Co., IL, 1840.2 Married Richard Ballantyne, 17 Feb. 1847, in Winter Quarters, Nebraska; nine children.3 Migrated to the Salt Lake Valley with the Brigham Young Company, arriving by 24 Sept. 1848.4 Living in Weber Co., Utah by 1860.5 President, Ogden Fourth Ward Relief Society, 1879-1883.6 Died in Ogden.7
