Thomas Williams

12 November 1837–1 August 1922

Thomas Pearson Williams was born to Thomas Williams and Sarah Pearson on 12 November 1837 in Bedfordshire, England. He joined the church on 30 April 1859 and married Jane Fawson on 27 June 1859. They had seven children and settled in Grantsville, Utah Territory, in October 1861. Williams served as a ward clerk and Sunday School secretary and worked for Tooele County as an assessor and tax collector. Following Jane’s death in 1882, Thomas married Emma Fairless Brown. They had five children. Thomas later married Josephine Fogelberg. He died on 1 August 1922 in Grantsville.[1]
