Sarah Ellen Richards Smith

Sarah Ellen Richards, a cousin of George F. Richards, was born to Willard Richards and Sarah Longstroth Richards, the sister of Nanny Longstroth, George F. Richards’s mother, on 25 August 1850 in Salt Lake City, Utah Territory. She married Joseph F. Smith on 1 March 1868 and had eleven children. Sarah was active in the Relief Society and was a member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers. She died in Salt Lake City on 22 March 1915.^[1]
