Robert Skelton

April 1824–1 February 1895

Robert Skelton was born in April 1824 to Thomas Skelton and Mary Hodgson in Carlisle, Cumberland, England. He moved to Tooele in what would become Utah Territory in 1849 and was a member of the Utah Territorial Legislature in 1856–1857. He married Eliza Angelina Gollaher on 17 January 1857 and later married Beatrice Brown. He served in the Tooele Ward bishopric and died on 1 February 1895 in Tooele.[1]
