Robert Meiklejohn

Robert Meiklejohn was born on 12 March 1822 to Peter Meiklejohn and Jeanette Wilson in Glasgow, Scotland. He married Mary McLachlan. He and his family migrated to the United States in 1855 and moved to Tooele, Utah Territory. After Mary died, Meiklejohn married Elizabeth Sanders on 11 January 1870. He was a musician who was also involved in broom manufacturing. Meiklejohn died on 7 May 1895 in Tooele.[1]
