Phares W. Dunyon was born to Isaac Newton Dunyon and Evelyn Wells on 21 October 1874 in Tooele, Utah Territory. He married Lois Victoria Lyman on 7 August 1899 in Tooele, and they had two children. After serving a mission in Kansas, he moved to Berkeley, California, where he served as a bishop. Dunyon worked in the candy business. He died in Berkeley on 3 March 1939.[1]
