Peter A. Droubay was born on 25 September 1855 to Pierre Apollinaire Droubay and Josephine Blondiaux in Walincourt, France. The family moved to Utah Territory in 1864 and settled in Pine Canyon in Tooele County. Droubay married Hannah B. Gollaher in 1877. After Hannah’s death, he married Martha J. Dunn Bramet on 31 March 1906. He was a storekeeper in Tooele and had a large ranch as well. He died on 16 June 1914 in Salt Lake City, Utah.[1]
