Nanny Longstroth Richards

15 April 1828–6 March 1857

Nanny Longstroth Richards, mother of George F. Richards, was born on 15 April 1828 in Arncliffe, Yorkshire, England, to Stephen Longstroth and Ann Gill. She was baptized in 1839 by Thomas Smith and was sealed to Willard Richards as a plural wife on 25 January 1846 in Nauvoo, Illinois. After Willard Richards’s death, Nanny married Franklin Dewey Richards on 6 March 1857. She died on 7 January 1911 in Salt Lake City, Utah.[1]
