James Henry Hammond

15 March 1835–14 November 1888

James Henry Hammond was born to John and Margaret Hammond on 15 March 1835 in Donegal, Ireland. He emigrated to the United States in 1852. Hammond married Mary Ann Howell on 5 March 1858 in Wilmington, Delaware. He moved to Utah Territory in 1862 and settled in Tooele, Utah Territory, by 1866. He was a stonemason. Hammond died in Tooele on 14 November 1888.[1]
