James B. Bowden

26 March 1843–13 August 1921

James B. Bowden was born on 26 March 1843 in Morristown, South Wales. He emigrated to the United States in 1854 and moved to Tooele, Utah Territory, in 1861. He married Rhoda Ann Baker in January 1872. Bowden sang in the Tooele choir for twenty-five years. He moved to Purple Springs, Alberta, Canada, in 1909 and died in Purple Springs on 13 August 1921.[1]
