Francis De St. Jeor

Francis De St. Jeor was born 11 July 1822 to Francis John De St. Jeor and Marie Macee on the Isle of Jersey. A shoemaker who married Elizabeth Jean on 26 February 1842, he was baptized into The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on 9 November 1849. He moved to the United States in 1855 and to Clover, Utah Territory, in 1857. In 1864 he married Harriet Le Masur (or Masurier). He served as the bishop in Clover from 1882 to 1901, when he became a patriarch. He died on 7 December 1912 in Clover, Utah.[1]
