Andres Gustaf Johnson

Andres Gustaf Johnson was born to John Johnson and Cajsa Lisa Anderson on 17 November 1843 in Kyrkefalla Socken Skaraborg, Lan, Sweden. He moved to Utah Territory in September 1861. He was married to Anna Sophia Bjork and Hannah Sophia Karlson. He served a mission to Sweden from 1880 to 1882. He served as a high councilor and superintendent of the Sunday School and was also city recorder; the mayor of Grantsville, Utah Territory, for three terms; school trustee; justice of the peace; county assessor; and county commissioner. He worked as a carpenter, tailor, and farmer. Johnson died in Grantsville on 3 March 1910.[1]
