Alvin James McCuistion

Alvin James McCuistion was born on 14 December 1856 in what is now Carson, Nevada, to Oliver P. McCuistion and Betsy Cranson. He married Mary Eliza DeLaMare, and after her death, he married Mary Elizabeth Kirk. He was the assistant secretary of the Young Men’s Mutual Improvement Association from 1874 to 1877 and president of the association from 1886 to 1889. He also served as a city councilor in Tooele, Utah Territory, from 1887 to 1888 and became city recorder in 1888. McCuistion died on 25 January 1953.[1]
