Thomas M. Dill
Born 8 June 1838 at Carthage, Hamilton Co., Ohio.[1] Son of James Dill and Mary McCameron.[2] Taught school, by 1863.[3] Married Emily (Emma) Scott Sheehan, ca. 1865.[4] Responded to articles written by Eliza R. Snow and John Taylor in an article published in the Salt Lake Weekly Tribune, 13 Nov. 1875.[5] Corresponded with EBW, Oct.–Dec. 1875.[6] Principal of Findlay-Street School, by 1877, in Cincinnati.[7] Notary public, by 1880, in Mill Creek Township, Hamilton Co.[8] Served as mayor of Lockland, Hamilton Co., 1884–1886.[9] Spent time in the Cincinnati workhouse for spousal abuse; divorced ca. 1889.[10] Died 26 Mar. 1915 in Cincinnati; buried at Reading, Hamilton Co.[11]
