Ellen Celeste Woodward

5 November 1831–15 January 1915

Born 5 Nov. 1831 at Petersham, Worcester Co., Massachusetts.[1] Daughter of David Woodard and Diadama Hare.[2] Sister of EBW.[3] Baptized as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 12 May 1842.[4] Migrated to the Salt Lake Valley with EBW and Newel K. Whitney in the Heber C. Kimball pioneer company, arriving Sept. 1848.[5] Married Elijah K. Fuller, 11 Mar. 1851, in Salt Lake City; eleven children.[6] Appointed to help settle what became Las Vegas, 1855.[7] Moved to Harrisburg, Washington Co., Utah Territory, 1861.[8] Appointed as postmaster, 27 Oct. 1879.[9] Practiced midwifery at Pine Creek, Gila Co., Arizona Territory, 1893.[10] Storekeeper at Pine Creek for fifteen years.[11] Died 15 Jan. 1915 at Mesa, Maricopa Co., Arizona.[12]
