Born 7 Aug. 1856 in Salt Lake City.[1] Daughter of Brigham Young Jr. and Catherine Curtis Spencer.[2] EBW mentioned a surprise party held for Alice, commonly called Alibo, on her eighteenth birthday, 7 Aug. 1874.[3] Married Charles R. Hopkins, 7 Aug. 1876, in Salt Lake City; seven children.[4] EBW recorded the events surrounding Alice and Charles’s elopement in her diary, 7–12 Aug. 1876.[5] Moved to Frisco, Beaver Co., Utah Territory, by 1880.[6] Moved to Meadville Township, Silver Bow Co., Montana, by 1900.[7] Moved to Butte City, Silver Bow Co., by 1910.[8] Following the death of her husband in Oct. 1926, moved to Morro Township, San Luis Obispo Co., California, to live with her children.[9] Died 21 Mar. 1946 in San Luis Obispo Co.[10]
